Outstanding job on the standing seam metal roof installation!
Mr. Garcia and his team did an outstanding job on the standing seam metal roof installation on my new construction project in Lake Placid. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top rate, competitively priced roof. Don’t be distracted by the fact that Platinum is a relatively new company…the people at Platinum have decades of experience in this area and will do a great job for you!
Details: I first discovered Platinum Roofing while they were doing a re-roof on a home near my existing home in Lake Placid. The work they did on that home looked to be of high quality and they job progressed quickly to completion in just a few days.
Fast forward several months while looking to secure a vendor to install the roof on my new construction home, I insisted that my builder get a bid from Platinum. We all met, discussed the job, materials, time frames, etc. and then Platinum quickly provided quotes for a couple of options I was considering. They were VERY competitively priced and offered the high-quality materials I was looking for.
We decided to move forward with Platinum. Mr. Garcia committed to being able to quickly dry-in the roof with our selected peel-and-stick underlayment when we completed the roof sheathing. As it turned out, Platinum came out and completed the dry-in in 2 phases because a large portion of the roof sheathing got completed and it was going to still be some time before the rest would get done. This was an over-and-above effort, in my opinion, but one that certainly helped preserve the quality of my home.
Once the metal supplier came onsite and roll-formed all my panels (which was also done in near-perfect timing), the Platinum team came on-site and began the metal install. The crew showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, safely and in good coordination with other subs on the site. The crew worked on a weekend (including a Sunday) and on the actual 4th of July and completed the job as quickly as could possibly be expected.
The crew cleaned up the site and the extra material was picked up within a couple of days, again keeping the job site clear for access by other subs.
A roof like this is something that I never expect to have to purchase again BUT I’m already planning to have Platinum put this same kind of roof on my boat house when the time comes and have already recommended Platinum to several associates/neighbors who are considering roofing projects.

Very thorough, communicative and knowledgeable
